We dedicate ourselves to bringing the best, relevant, real life experience training as possible. Training to us, is not just about instructing courses, it is about rating tools, demonstrations, self-assessments, and utilizing classroom knowledge, diversity and experience through open discussions to challenge ourselves and others. However, through active participation and real life training scenarios, we ensure that we always have a conducive and fun learning atmosphere.
Our Training philosophy, focus and goals.
We use a unique outlook on training in our courses of instruction. Our philosophy, no matter the level of expertise in the field being instructed, is to always be open minded and open to new ideas. We may teach one solution, but understand that there are many ways to overcome an obstacle. In todays world we are sometimes faced with many hardships that can be very serious. Instead of focusing on the gloom, we focus on the good and what we can control in our own environment.
The training goal of the network is to ultimately share information for the greater good of the community. We also strive to conduct training events that have practical learning value and generate valuable feedback, to not only improve our training, but to also learn in greater depth. Adversity is always around every corner, from natural disasters to loosing power, that is why we train, plan, and practice.
Our training focuses, but is not limited too, four main scenarios; Home Self-Reliance (Bugging in), Evacuation (Bugging out), Life on the Road, and Relocation. Within these scenarios there are six critical elements we break down and define. These elements are; (1) water, (2) food, (3) first aid, (4) security and defense, (5) heating, cooling and energy, and (6) hygiene and sanitation.
