To include harvesting or using a resource so that the resource is not depleted or permanently damaged, which is a lifestyle involving sustainable methods (sustainability). There are many ways to achieve a self-reliant and sustainable lifestyle, but can become very overwhelming.

Life on the road is two fold, relocation to a new area or getting back home from work, a vacation, friends house, etc. When considering life on the road, it can be as simple as driving home or to a new location, but it can also encompass having to leave your vehicle, stopping many times along the road, or even backpacking across rigorous terrain.
Bugging out means to evacuate your home or immediate area by the best means possible, to include having a emergency plan and being fully prepared for the trip. One of the most important aspects of bugging out is having a plan with escape routes, alternative routes, fuel needed, relocation area, emergency contacts, etc. This can be hard on families and at times very dangerous.
Depending on the factors of a disaster or serious event, relocation can take on different meanings. From this factors, relocation can be as simple as evacuating to a relatives house to finding a piece of land next to a water source and staying for an extended period of time.
